- ESD work surface mats are designed to provide a static safe work surface where ESD control is required.
- The mat provides a path to ground for charge from conductive or static dissipative items placed on the mat. Electrically insulative items will not allow their charge to transfer to ground. However, a grounded mat may suppress the field associated with insulators.
- Dual layer design: dissipative on top layer; conductive bottom layer provides main discharge path to ground.
